Global-Warming Cause And Effect

All of us are looking for ways to save on fuel and the high cost of living period. While we are searching for ways to do that a lot of us are forgetting to look at the other things that are causing havoc in our economy.

Global-warming is the increase in the average temperature of the Earth’s atmosphere.

For the last 50 years the opinion on climate change is attributable to human activities,which in turn is the cause of increased atmospheric concentration of greenhouse gases.

Greenhouse gases are released by activities such as the burning of fossil fuels, land clearing, and agriculture.

Increase in temperatures can cause change in rising sea level and changes in the amount and pattern of precipitation.

This affects the frequency and intensity of weather events,such as floods, droughts, heat waves, hurricanes,and tornados.

All we have to do is watch the news every single day at what is happening all around us when it comes to the weather.

Every one in the United States has been affected in someway with weird weather in there state the last couple of years.

Carbon Dioxide (CO2) and Methane (CH4) are the main greenhouse gases.

Although most studies focus on the period up to 2100, if no further greenhouse gases were released after this date, warming and sea level would be expected to continue to rise because CO2 has a long atmospheric lifetime.

Industry, Electric Power Generation, Agriculture, and Transportation are the four top sources of greenhouse gases.

Automobiles are also responsible. This is why automobile manufactures are producing more hybrid automobiles.

It is difficult to get a man to understand something when his salary depends on his not understanding it.

Global warming is real and we all need to do our part.
