All-About Me And Why

Hi my name is April and this is all-about how and why I built a website, and if I can do it anyone can.

With gas prices soaring and the economy going down the tubes like everyone else I needed to do something so I turned to the internet.

All-about me is how I chose to go and maybe my story will help someone else to make a decision thats right for them.

I was born and raised in Jacksonville Florida and still reside here. Even through I have lived in other places Jacksonville has my heart.

I raised four children, 2 boys, 2 girls. My youngest son passed away at the young age of 17 from a brain tumor. 13 beautiful grandchildren. 3 of them grown already. My how time flies.

Over the years I've had many jobs (listing them in my profile)would be boring, but I presently work in steel manufactoring and have been with the company 17 years as a Production Scheduler for our plant and D.C's which is short for Distribution Centers.

Like all companys we are having to down-size and pay raise's are frozen. Since I could no longer depend on a raise I needed to find another way to bring in more money and cope in our new economy.

You know the saying, Every thing is going up but the pay check.

After doing some searchs on line looking at websites.I discovered that there were ways to have your own business as an affiliate so I looked into that a little more.

The catch was you needed to build a website or blog. I didn't even know were to start.

My knowledge of computers were slim to none. I came across a free site that lets you build a blog to do this.

During my research to try and find out what I was doing wrong I came across a free download on how to build a web page step by step and why you needed to go that route.

In the instructions it referred me to a site were I didn't have to know anything at all except point and click and the desire.If you don't use a site that has your htm, tag codes, etc you would have to be a pro even for a blog.

I downloaded the free e-books to read, and all the information I could find to read about SiteBuildit. That was an eye-opener.

It was one of the best things that has happened in my life. It showed me how to build a website around something I love doing and make money to.

I love helping others whenever I can so I decided to create a website to help others learn how to save money and cope in these trying times of our economy.

I'm doing what I truly love to do and with the affiliate programs I'm making the extra money I needed. Couldn't ask for anymore then that.
